Step One: Router installation

1, telephone line internet: Prepare 2 network cable, one is used to connect ADSL Modem (cat) and D-link router Internet/wan mouth, the other one to connect the computer and the D-link router on the 4 LAN mouth of any one;

2, network cable households: The ISP broadband operators to provide the household network cable inserted in the D-link router WAN interface, and then use a network cable to the computer and the D-link router of any LAN interface to connect it.

Common errors: Many users are careless, connecting the Internet interface to the computer, resulting in the inability to open the D-link router's setup interface on the computer.

Step Two: Configure the computer IP

Step three: D-link router settings

1, Login Management interface: In the XP computer Browser open 192.168.0.1----> Click the "Setup Wizard";

In the pop-up dialog box, enter the username: admin, the password is empty, no input, click "OK";

2, click "Next";

3, choose the way: The General family Broadband access mode is ADSL dial-up Internet access, so choose the "broadband dial-up (PPPoE)"----> "Next";

4, Broadband dial-up settings: In the "username" and "password" option to enter the broadband operation provided on the Internet account and password, "service name" and "server name" generally do not need to fill out----> "Next";

5, wireless network identification (name) settings: After the "Wireless SSID" Enter the name of the wireless network (that is, the name of the Wi-Fi)----> click "Next";

6, wireless encryption settings: After the "encryption mode" SELECT "Activate WPA PSK+WPA2 PSK Automatic (Enhanced)"----> "WPA algorithm" select "Tkip+aes"----> "WPA shared Key" after entering a key, Change password is to connect wireless Wi-Fi when the required authentication password----> click "Next";

7, complete the setup: Click "Save Settings".
