XP uses wireless network card to establish LAN

The new semester began, presumably and a lot of students have added a beloved notebook bar! So the brothers can use the rest time in the dormitory chat, play games to relax. Network sharing with roommates is generally done in the LAN. What if you don't have a local area network in your environment? What do I do without a hub? In fact, we can quickly set up a wireless network with a temporary wireless LAN, so that not only can share the Internet, but also to achieve the file sharing between the computers, it is not convenient!

The use of wireless network card to build temporary networks, is not the use of wireless routers, the premise, after the wireless network card simple settings, open the wireless network card point-to-point connection function, the formation of a small wireless LAN. So as long as there is a computer in the dormitory to the Internet, other computers will be able to share the Internet, at the same time, each computer can also transfer documents to facilitate the use of users.

There are many ways to set up the wireless couplet network, the convenient setting method is to realize wireless interconnection through the Wireless Setup Wizard with Windows XP, and the setting method is very simple.

1. Computer Host Settings

Set the first computer as a host, but also to ensure that the computer through the "local connection" or "dial-up Internet" way to normal internet. Then we are setting up the computer accordingly.

First, open the Network Connections window in Control Panel. Right-click Wireless connection, and in the right-click menu, select View Available wireless networks (Figure 1).

Then, in the Open Wireless Network Connection dialog box, click Change Advanced Settings on the right (Figure 2).

Open a Wireless Network Connection dialog box and switch to the wireless network Configuration interface (Figure 3).
