Xshell key authentication

Xshell's key authentication principle and putty are the same, but the operation is different.

Open Xshell Click the Tools option in the menu bar and select the new User Key Generation Wizard from the drop-down menu.

Leave the default and click Next.

See "Public key pair has been successfully generated" click Next.

Set the name of the secret key, set the password for the secret key, and then click Next.

Copy the public key to the Clipboard.

Do not close the key window shown before pasting, open Putty, edit Authorized_keys file in Putty.

[Email protected] ~]# MKDIR/ROOT/.SSH

[Email protected] ~]# chmod//root/.ssh

[Email protected] ~]# Vi/root/.ssh/authorized_keys

After entering the configuration file, press "I" key to turn to edit mode, then right-click Paste.

(You need to separate the secret key of the putty from the secret key of the Xshell),

After you edit the key, save and exit.

then click Finish.

Click Close.

Click the file open icon at the top left and click Properties in the Pop-up window.

Click User Authentication.

Confirm that the above information is not a problem, then click OK
