So what exactly does exchange do to delete users' mailboxes? For users, exchange has two operations: one is to disable the user's mailbox, and the other is to delete the corresponding mailbox user account from the Active Directory. It can be seen that the difference between "delete email" and "Disable email" is whether the user account corresponding to the email in the Active Directory is deleted. The former is made clean during execution, while the latter leaves room.

Since the delete mailbox operation will delete the user together, there are two options for recovery:

I. Restore to a new user. For example, if a new employee leaves the company and the mailbox is deleted, the new employee must continue to process the emails and transactions in his mailbox. If Enterprise regulations permit, the employee's email address can be restored to the new employee's email address.

Ii. Restore to an existing Email user.
