Q: Why can't I find any Asus wireless routers when I use the Asus wireless router search function?
A: to configure the Asus wireless router through a wireless LAN card, your computer must be in the same subnet as the Asus wireless router. Even in the same channel, if the Sub-Network of the Asus wireless router is different from that of your computer, you still cannot find the Asus wireless router. You must change the sub-network of your computer so that it has the same settings as the Asus wireless router. The default subnet of the Asus wireless router is [192.168.1.1]. In Windows NT/2000/xp, you must log on as an administrator to correctly use all functions of the Asus wireless router administrator. If you do not log on with any name in the Administrator group, you cannot modify the IP address setting value. However, if the original IP Address Setting Value is correct, you can still perform the search function.
