Computer network sharing
Windows xp uses network neighbors in the LAN to perform mutual access between computers, shared file transmission, and printer sharing (similar to other systems) (all computers to be shared must be set)
1. Activate the GUEST account
(Control Panel → user account → enable GUEST Account GUEST)
2. Set it in the same working group
(Right-click my computer → properties → computer name → change → Working Group (restart required ))
3. Install the network "service" Protocol
(Control Panel → network connection → right-click "Local Connection" → properties → General → click "Install" → service)
4. Run "set up the home and small office network" once"
(Control Panel → network installation wizard; or network neighbors → set up home and small office networks) -- enable shared files
5. share files or folders to be shared
(Right-click the shared folder and select "share and security" → select "share this folder on the network"; or copy the file to be shared to the shared file)
6. Share a printer
(Right-click the printer to be shared, Select Share → Select Share this printer) after the connection is complete, enter his IP address in the address bar to access the IP address shared by him (that is, the IP address in the local connection attribute)
When setting the IP address in the local connection property, it is best to set it manually instead of automatically obtaining it.
Click "Network Neighbor" to view the Working Group computer.
