Your opinion on the format of office open XML document

I believe that most bloggers have a good understanding of the open XML document format introduced by Office 2007. Now, open XML file format is a standard of ECMA (European Computer Manufacturers Association, microsoft is submitting it to the ISO International Standards Organization.
