When you are finished configuring Zookeeper after cluster , Three Nodes , start each of the three nodes as follows :

[email protected] bin]# zkserver.sh Start

JMX enabled by default

Using config:/usr/local/zk/bin/. /conf/zoo.cfg

Starting zookeeper ... STARTED

in the View Zookeeper status is encountered

[Email protected] bin]# zkserver.sh status

JMX enabled by default

Using config:/usr/local/zk/bin/. /conf/zoo.cfg

Error contacting service. It is probably not running.

and the other two nodes are actually normal . ;

analyze the cause and resolve :

One of the reasons

The reason for this is the editing zoo.cfg configuration file, you specify a Log output directory, but it is not created.

Therefore, it needs to be created according to the directory specified inside.

Mkdir/tmp/zookeeper/log

The second reason

Final Check configurationzoo.cfgconfiguration discovery is that the hostname of the node is incorrectly written;stop three nodes firstZookeeperService,modify nodes on azoo.cfgconfiguration file,at the start of each ,results show Normal;

The third reason

When configuring the cluster, the myID file in the data directory is incorrectly written and modified to the correct value.

Ps:zk class installation process, if the error, be sure to put the status of the errors posted, other information is not easy to find the answer.
