ZTE F460 EPON v3.0 optical cat obtains the super password and enables the routing function

Today, China Telecom's broadband network has started to enter the home. As a home terminal, China Telecom provides a ZTE F460 optical cat. This device integrates all the Internet, TV, and phone. However, the All-in-One device that provides four wired interfaces (including the port and iTV) and wireless functions does not support the routing function, that is, the Internet access cannot be shared by multiple users. In fact, this device has powerful functions. However, China Telecom restricts its functions through software. To enable these functions, You need to obtain the password of the Super account telecomadmin, this tutorial is used to obtain the super password.

There are many methods on the Internet, but many of them are currently blocked by China Telecom in the new version of the program. The method described today is the simplest and passed the test on a factory-ready center F460 in January.

1. Enable the Windows Telnet client (XP is enabled by default and can be skipped)

Choose Start> Control Panel> program, and click Enable or Disable Windows to go to the Windows function Setting dialog box. Find and check "Telnet client" and "Telnet Server", and click "OK" to complete the installation. In addition, we can also install "TFTP client" and "Internet Information Service" through this wizard.

2. Obtain the super Password

1. Start-> Run-> Enter CMD and press Enter.

2. Enter the following command:
Telnet 192.168.1.1

3. Enter the account password in sequence:
Root
Root

4. After successful login, The busybox version is displayed. EnterSendcmd 1 DB p UserInfo

The following message is displayed. Check "telecomadmin", which contains the password.

3. Enter the optical cat configuration Network

 

1. Enter 192.168.1.1 in the browser.

Log On with the username and password you just obtained.

2. Click "Log on" and you will find that you have logged on to the background. It is different from useradmin. There are many functional menus, including corresponding management settings.

3. Route Configuration
Choose "network"> "Broadband Settings"

4. First, let's look at the number next to "1_INTERNET_ B _VID_XXX" under "connection name". Each region is different. You must remember this number, which is related to the normal dialing.

Route configuration method:
1. Connection name: Create a WAN connection
2. vlan id: The number you noted down earlier
3. User name: Your broadband account
4. Password: Your bandwidth Password
5. Click "CREATE ".
Now, the route is configured.
Note: If you use dial-up, the dial may be disconnected immediately. Do not be afraid. You can directly return the dial-up. Now you can use the routing method to access the Internet.
Note: after the previous tutorials were released, I found that some regions do not have VLAN IDs. The solution is simple. When creating a new connection, follow the settings:

In the red box, select UNTAG for "VLAN mode", so that no Vlan id is required. If you are prompted that the connection fails, you can delete the bridge and establish a route connection.
5. Wireless Settings:
Change the SSID name, click "network"> "WLAN configuration"> "ssid name" to modify the content in the box that follows, and click Save.

If you want to disable the wireless connection of iTV, you only need to select SSID2 and then uncheck "SSID enable.
