1/3 loans to support agricultural water conservancy projects

It is understood that in the field of water conservancy construction, agricultural distribution mainly supports the reconstruction of large and medium-sized irrigation areas and water-saving reform, the renovation of large and medium-sized irrigation and drainage pumping stations, the construction of Small Water conservancy key counties and the construction of medium and small-sized hydropower facilities. In the comprehensive management of rivers and lakes, it mainly supports the management of small and medium-sized rivers with flood hazards, main river channel regulation and dike construction, dangerous reservoirs and large and medium dangerous sluices.　　In the field of rural drinking water security, it mainly supports the construction of the key water source project, the construction of water resources allocation project, soil and water conservation and aquatic ecological protection, as well as the development and utilization of hydropower resources. It is reported that since 2007, with the gradual expansion of business scope, agricultural distribution to strengthen the support for Water Conservancy construction. By the end of 2010, Agricultural Water Conservancy construction loan balance of 103.741 billion yuan, supporting 1362 projects, involving irrigation areas and water-saving reform, risk reservoir reinforcement, river and Lake comprehensive management, rural drinking water security, soil and water conservation and ecological protection, rural hydropower development and so on.
