Intel says the data platform is primarily an operating system designed for large data processing, supports a wide range of applications, and provides a high level of protection that gives users of open source solutions a sense of security.
The company also released a new data Analysis Platform Toolkit (Intel at the data platform) to create a graphical analysis environment and predictive model configuration that enables organizations to discover information in hidden data. Combined, these features enable companies to extract value from data in a variety of ways, rather than just using Apache Hadoop software. The
user chooses the Intel Apache Hadoop release, in fact, considering that the platform will be more efficient than other platforms because it will be optimized by the latest Xeon processor. Intel provides software for fast encryption and decryption of data (developed specifically for the Hadoop platform), and AES algorithms are used for better security.

Data processing specialists working with financial services companies can use Intel's complete set of tools to obtain valuable information, such as fraud and business transaction information.
The Enterprise and advanced editions of the platform will be released in the next quarter, with appropriate technical support for each version. The Enterprise Edition will provide all the features of the platform free of charge, the Advanced edition will pay the subscription fee each year, and the corresponding additional technical features, including advanced automation, security correction and early warning features, continuous updates and telephone hotline technical support.
New Intel platform for large data will face many other solutions on the marketProviders of competition, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon and so on. Microsoft has revealed that a Hadoop service based on Azure Cloud, also known as Windows Azure Hdinsight, will support open source projects.
