October 19, 2013, the world's largest mobile ad network opera MediaWorks today reported that in the third quarter of this year, iOS in the mobile advertising market remains the leading position, accounting for mobile ad requests for 44.4% and mobile advertising revenue of 50%. Android accounts for 31.32% of the mobile ad market's revenue. Apple's leading advantage in the mobile ad market is largely thanks to the ipad. The strong sales of the ipad and Android tablets have made the two devices account for 10% of mobile ad exposure in the third quarter, twice times the same period last year. In the third quarter, iOS devices accounted for 44% of advertising exposure, and 50% of mobile ad revenue came from iOS devices. BlackBerry devices account for 2.84% of mobile advertising exposure, while Windows Phone devices account for only 0.36% of mobile traffic.
