2014 China Mobile market share will account for the world's second

December 16, research company emarketer released today reported that 2014 global digital advertising market size will reach 146 billion U.S. dollars, Alibaba and Baidu as the representative of Chinese companies will account for nearly 11% of the market share.
The report shows that Baidu's market share will reach 4.68%, ranking third in the world. Alibaba's market share will reach 4.66%, ranking fourth. Baidu and Alibaba have a market share that is ahead of Microsoft, IAC, Yahoo and Twitter.
The top two are Google (Weibo) and Facebook. Google's market share is as high as 31.1%, slightly below last year's 31.55%. Facebook has a market share of 7.75%, ranking second, compared with 5.75% last year.
In addition to Baidu and Alibaba, the other two Chinese companies in the market share among the 20, respectively, Tencent and Sina. Tencent's market share was 0.83%, after Twitter's 0.84%, the world's 9th, ahead of AOL's 0.81% and Amazon's 0.7%. Sina ranked 14th in the world.
In the mobile ad market, emarketer expects the overall size of this year to reach $40.2 billion trillion. Alibaba and Baidu have been more robust in the sector, with Alibaba ranking third, with a market share of 6.2%, well above the 1.6%-year period. Baidu four, the market share of 5.1%, nearly doubled year-on-year.
China becomes the second largest mobile advertising market in the world
Similarly, the mobile advertising market is also headed by Google and Facebook. Google's market share is 40.5%, below last year's 47%. Facebook was 18.4%, compared to 16.6% last year.
