The survey found that guessing puzzles and strategy games were most favored by users, with 36% of players playing the game, card games accounted for 25%, arcade games accounted for 22%, word and digit games accounted for 18%, board games accounted for 13%. Of the mobile users who can download apps for mobile phones, 53% have downloaded apps in the past 1 months, and 33% have downloaded apps in the past 1 weeks. 42% of US mobile apps users have visited Facebook in the past 1 months, followed by Google Maps (35%), Weather Channel (32%), and music application Pandora (19%). About 42% of users who frequently download mobile apps say "multiple" runs every day, and 15% runs at least once a day, Pew said. 76% of mobile apps users say they run applications every day for 30 minutes or less. Pew found that 35% of American adults have mobile phones that can run apps, but only 25% use it, and 11% of mobile phone users don't even know if their phones can run apps.
