70 km long large polymetallic ore Orefield found in Qinling Mountain, Shaanxi Province

Xinhua Xian, July 19, after nearly 3 years of geological exploration, geological experts in Shaanxi province in the south of the Qinling Mountains found a long 70 kilometers of large lead-zinc polymetallic ore orefield.　　At present, 5 large PB-Zn ag-CU polymetallic deposits have been proved, one of which is over 10 million tons. According to the long-term investigation of the Shaanxi Provincial Geological and Mineral Bureau, senior engineer, China Metallurgical Mining Association Distinguished Consultant Zimming introduced, this Orefield West Ningshan County Jiangkou area East Zhenan County Jiangchuan area, length of 70 kilometers, width 1 to 3 kilometers. At present, the bed has been proved 5 polymetallic deposits in the ore, lead, zinc, silver, copper have reached or exceeded industrial grade, of which the average lead grade of 3%, zinc 10%, copper 0.8%, silver grade of 96 grams/ton, the ore also has a certain grade of cadmium, antimony and other rare metals.　　The variation coefficients of thickness and grade of these polymetallic ore bodies belong to stable uniform type and have great development value. It is understood that a deposit in the Zhenan County Dongchuan River Loess Ridge has proved that the amount of lead-zinc polymetallic resources is more than 10 million tons. Shaanxi Huijin Mining Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. organized more than 120 technical construction personnel in the Geological Survey here, has proved the thickness of 4-10 meters, the average thickness of 8.8 meters, lead and zinc average grade of more than 13%, rich ore section grade up to 46%. Geological experts analysis, this deposit may be the core of this large ore Orefield, the current prospecting roadway has not penetrated the ore body, is still in exploration.
