I often read articles on science and technology, and I see a lot of authors trying to dissect and describe adolescent audiences, especially those related to social media. However, I have not seen a teenager express his ideas on this topic. That's why I want to share some of my superficial ideas. In advance, I was a 19-year-old male student at the University of Texas at Austin. I am very interested in what role social media plays in the youth community and at this stage of development. What I'm sharing here is personal, but not limited to myself, but also observations from other peers. This article does not cite research, data, or other information, as these things can be easily retrieved from other technology media sites and analyzed by themselves. I am writing this article to provide a different perspective on the "very enviable" age section where I am. That is to say, I am not an expert in this field, there will certainly be data and my views conflict. But these things are just what I really see. The best way to do that is to say the same thing about different social media platforms. Facebook, in short, is already in the minds of people. But for us, Facebook is dead. Facebook is something that all of us will use in high school because it was cool, but now Facebook is seen as an awkward family party and we can't really walk away. Sometimes Facebook makes people feel strange, even annoying. That said, it would be weirder and more annoying if you didn't have Facebook. Strange because the social pressure behind this problem is hidden, "everyone has this, why don't you?" "It's annoying because you have to respond to almost everyone's friend requests in the class." Facebook's main function now is to group. I know a lot of students just go up and down Facebook and look at the group they're joining, and then they quit soon. At this point, Facebook is really good--the group function algorithm is not as complex as newsfeed. You can easily see a group of new messages without having to swipe down and omit a whole bunch of content and ads that you're not interested in. Facebook's message function is also very popular with my age group, mainly because, for some people, it's a bit embarrassing to call, but sending a buddy invitation doesn't make the message function the right way to communicate. Facebook is also the first choice for many people trying to find someone online, simply because everyone has Facebook. If I saw you at a party once, I wouldn't go on Twitter or Instagram to see who you are. Instead, many people will choose Facebook because it is easy to use and the search function is powerful, and the search results will give people who you might really know. (whichA little different from the Instagram, although the product in the latest version of the improvement, still need to improve. Instagraminstagram This is by far the most popular social media channel in our age group. Note the wording here-the most commonly used social media channels. It means that although most people are on Facebook, we will be Instagram on the content. The interesting thing for me is that a girl with 1500 Facebook friends gets 25 compliments on Facebook, but in Instagrm (her fan count is 800) she gets 253 compliments. In this case, I have a few ideas: first, I Instagram on the point of praise and appear on other people's newsfeed, or to my point of view screenshots or later cited, I will not be scared. The same is the comment. Second, I do not have to be on top of the powder to others, which means that I subscribe to the content is exactly what I want to see. So I'm going to use it again, browsing through the content that I'm interested in, instead of looking at other apps for a while and finding a little bit of a spot. Third, the content of the Instagram more quality. Users take the time to process photos, such as adding filters, setting different brightness contrast (this is even one of the steps in the system to publish photos), and so on, to make the photos as beautiful as possible. That is to say, Instagram content is generally better (as far as photos are concerned), so I'm more likely to use it. Four, Instagram not a large number of middle-aged and elderly groups (not all use Instagram), so it is still cool for young people. However, Instagram has become so popular that he has never heard of a smartphone without Instagram. Even if it's not for a photo, at least label the person in the photo. Five, another point: tagging. I don't have to go to Instagram to see if there are any strange or embarrassing photos that add to my tag. This is because you are not necessarily able to see me in your subscription, which makes the entire user experience more intimate. Did I look weird in your photo release? Who cares--if I'm not happy, I can delete the tag without worrying about my other friends in another social circle (not paying attention to you) to see it first. I know Facebook can let users see every photo that adds your label, even before you see it, but a lot of people I know don't have the feature enabled or simply don't know it. Six, users are not every day on the Instagram on the crazy release. Most are more moderate and restrained, not once a day is a few times a week. This means that every time the app is opened there won't be a big wave of suffocating updates coming in, so I can keep up with Instagram subscriptions. Seven, Instagram no outside chain, so I will not be spam continued bombing, such as advertising, gossip news, BThe Uzzfeed column "You don't know but you need 28 things for the dog." These are some of the reasons why users prefer to use Instagram rather than Facebook. Instagram is less commercialized and more concerned about content, so it is more popular among teenagers. Instagram brings a more enjoyable user experience, and we are more willing to do it and interact. So the interaction between us and the application is more, the use of the frequency is certainly higher. Facebook has all the photos we've taken, good or bad, and the photos on Instagram are a summary of what we're doing, more selective, and the user spends more time thinking about an interesting headline. On Facebook We just send things up, let the users tag each other and let the family see if we're still alive. I talked to a lot of people younger than me (10-16, okay, 00) and they didn't even have the Facebook to Instagram enough.
