I am a Dalian person, high School in Dalian 24. Because the study was very hard, so after graduating from high school chose to study abroad, this is actually a lot of undergraduate study abroad can not say the secret, a few schools, and eventually graduated from the University of Indiana Kelly School of Business, majoring in investment and financial derivatives. Coincidentally, two years before graduating from the stock market and foreign exchange market is better, earning a little capital, so I decided to return to do some business. Introduction

After graduating from college for the first time in the face of so many people to make a speech, frankly, very nervous. Although I have imagined many times when I was young, after being successful, I was able to share with my young friends how I had gone from nothing to the pinnacle of life, and then to tell you that people cannot live like a tree, can go to the top of the pyramid is only the eagle and the snail two animals, my success you can also copy and so on. But after 26 years of age I suddenly realized that a serious problem is that my life may not achieve great success ah, so when the Tedxdufe team to find me said it's okay even if you're just a snack bar, we're willing to offer you a chance to exchange ideas with a lot of people, How excited my mood is. Today, I just want to share with you a few more than 10 years of problems that bothered me and some of my friends around me, and my views on these issues after some changes and setbacks.

Can hard work really achieve the dream?

Now you can imagine that Feng is sitting in a swivel chair and looking at you fondly and saying, "What is your dream?" The dream of this thing is so important, is simply a beacon of life. Successful people have different reasons for success, but they will never forget to tell you that no matter when, never forget the dream, is their first reason for success. So that our generation's most common understanding of the meaning of life is to hold on to the dream and finally to achieve it. But very few people are willing to face the one thing is that most of the dream forever, yes, never can be achieved.

You heard right, most people's dreams will never come true.

Let's share one of my previous dreams. When I was in college I was addicted to all kinds of gambling games and was a regular visitor to the casino next to the school. Then I knew that my stupid dream was called a gambler's fallacy, and it didn't start. But it meant a great thing to me, and I finally realized that in the face of sheer random events, all laws are meaningless.

Things in life are very individual, like roulette, and are purely random events, such as Shuangse. But almost every one of the SHUANGSE will tell you ah, they spent a lot of energy to delve into the number of the period, study the history of the law, how much hard work in the end achieved success. In fact, even if it is purely random-dominated, a small probability event will happen as long as the number of people involved is large enough. All the things we encounter in life can be divided into three categories, the first category is purely random decisions, such as Brownian motion and roulette, the second category is purely determined by ability, such as English level six exam, 110 meter column and so on. The third category, which we most often encounter, is determined by both ability and randomness, such as entrepreneurship, investment, love or dream.

The reason why I'm so tired of inspiring gurus telling young people to pursue their dreams at all costs is that most people's dreams are not purely shuangse, but they are also absolutely random-led. In the face of the powerful randomness, pay more hard sweat, it is like sitting around the roulette wheel all day long to fathom the law. But after all that moment, China has many singing and she is as good or even better girls, such as really make a good voice champion as a lifelong dream, life must be spent in pain. I personally like the Yellow Sea, but I definitely do not use yellow as an example to motivate a poor looking young man at all costs to chase the actor dream, pay attention to at all costs. Because whether it is singing or acting, no amount of effort can only let you become very good, they do not exist quantifiable criteria, want to become a star of attention, the importance of randomness is far greater than the strength.

I think that when one is young, everything that is done can clearly distinguish the proportion of randomness and accept it calmly, which in my opinion is the most precious wealth.

So how important is luck in your dreams? When you are deeply aware of the randomness of this matter may not favor with you, are you willing to stick to it? To me, the dream is always worthy of persistent pursuit, but I can be extremely calm acceptance, it is never realized.

All these years I have been reminding myself of one thing, do not touch yourself. What most people seem to do is just stupid. So, when I did not sleep all night, cold dizziness, and after standing on the green train for two hours, arrived in daqing that moment I feel that I am really not easy, in the future must be written into the memoirs. What's more, if I can go to bed early the night before, prepare more clothes, in advance on the internet to set the train tickets, can comfortably achieve the same purpose. What I've been through is like a microcosm of many things in my more than 20 years of life, Indulging in the failure to help the outcome is simply because you have suffered some pain in the behavior, mistakenly think that is effort.

When I finally realized that I was not the only one who used to use meaningless consumption as an effort, I suddenly found that people in my life who worked so hard may not be so diligent, and it is not difficult to stick to action in the right direction.

Because our generation of hard work and hard understanding, almost exclusively from the school, more precisely, in the first more than 20 years of life, we see the most hardworking people, those who are most able to read and do the most hard work. In fact, this kind of understanding is extremely one-sided and naïve, because the reading and the problem itself, are for an extremely bright purpose exists, is to pass the exam. This diligent pay is extremely pure, more review time, higher review intensity, generally speaking, can directly improve the score of the test, the contact between them is clear and direct, everyone is read.

But the beauty of life is that a lot of things are completely incomprehensible before we get to a certain level.

It's like learning English, I've been imagining it for more than 10 years. How complex the process, how sophisticated design, how comprehensive involved and how incredible efforts, finally there is a day, perhaps I can because of the early days of the impeccable learning, speak a more fluent English, like speaking Chinese, You can say and think, instead of saying every sentence before you design it's sentence tenses and then repeat them several times in the heart and then look fluent in the recitation. Who doesn't think so? Unfortunately, it has not only never been achieved, but I do not see any trend to achieve, for every person who set goals, no more painful feelings.

But after two years in the United States, I suddenly found myself able to speak fluent English without any obstacles. This is not a new learning method that I have adopted, but because after going to Indiana very few Chinese people, in the absence of choice, can only be forced to use English to communicate and express, in the process I did not seriously think of their daily progress, there is no stage of the test learning effect, just non-stop to listen and say, Because there is no choice. Until more than two years later, suddenly one day I realized, Yi, it seems that I really can. But I really can't sum up how to do it step by step, but those two years time, I have been very reluctantly to live in English.

The most valuable ability a person can acquire is the same as mastering a language, your effort is not to get instant feedback, even for a long period of time without any gains, until a certain stage of accumulation, suddenly burst out of amazing power, even you do not know how it happened. such as exercising, reading and writing, or doing business. When you go through enough quantitative changes to have the skills that eventually lead to a qualitative change, most people are hard to reach for life, not because they are stupid, but on the contrary, because they are too clever.

The fundamental principle of triggering human action is called reflection, and we are the species that needs immediate feedback. So the vast majority of people's understanding of the world is linear, but more often, things are in the form of a long latent shock after the outbreak of breakthrough development. I now often feel that people are more likely to master the language during their teens, musical instruments, art these adults difficult to learn skills, not that childhood is gifted, but small children rarely one weeks to question how much of their harvest, is a practice is a few years, until the learned to know oh oneself already will. Only intelligent adults, believe that 1 books read the I Ching, 10 words to uncover the success of MA, 30 days to become a guitar master story.

In short, in real life, the pay and results are often less immediate. After leaving school, when we encounter a lot of things no longer like to do questions and the relationship between the exam is so close, many people's pay is a little. And the most valuable effort is to choose the right direction, those who can not get the immediate return of things, still pay 10 years as a day of focus and enthusiasm, the final result may not be enough to make you alone, but enough to excel.

So much has been said, and the talk is about goals and goals. Think about it, our life seems to be in the pursuit of the goal of struggling to spend. Have you found that, in fact, every stage of the life of people have new pain and worry, the cycle, endless. Absolutely not because you go to university, career success, married goddess from happily ever after. But each stage also has every stage of happiness, irreplaceable. Life is not Andersen's fairy tale is not a Hollywood movie, from the moment of birth until the end of life, there is no node, the past after all the happiness and happy carefree.

Every period of time has its value, no high or low, should not be betrayed. And the stupidest thing I can think of in a lifetime is to put all the hopes of life into a certain node in the future, ignoring the pleasures of life itself. Even if you truly realize the goal of the obsession, you will find it is far less beautiful than you think. Life in every day of life, all the obsession is false, and the people around happy to get along, carefully arranged every day activities, attentively to feel the mood of every day, is the meaning of life itself.
