Accenture Private Cloud services for SAP users

    users of SAP (Enterprise management solutions) who want to plant traditional enterprise planning into private cloud clients now have new choices. The Accenture Company announced at the Sapphire Conference in Madrid in Wednesday that it would launch a private cloud service.

    with this service, SAP users can migrate their ERP (Enterprise resource planning) software and business warehouse data storage platforms to private cloud clients. Users can enjoy the conventional convenience of cloud services, such as the plasticity of system resources.

    Accenture uses the Flexpod architecture, which combines NetApp storage with Cisco's unified computing system, while blending VMware virtualization Technologies ﹑ Linux's Red Hat operating system and receptacle satellite management software, Eric Renouard told us.     Eric Renouard says Accenture offers three different configurations of services for midsize ﹑ large and "oversized" cloud deployments.     All systems run on the user's personal data center, rather than on Accenture platforms, Renouard told us. This is the key to a system that quickly completes deployment. For example, Accenture does not have to worry about security encryption measures for remote users, Renouard added.

    SAP also supports Dell and IBM's private cloud system architecture. Last year, SAP announced the development of a new "landscape Manager" tool that allows users to oversee complex virtualized environments.

    SAP initially said the product would be in the market in the fourth quarter of this year. A spokesman for SAP did not immediately respond to calls for information on the latest developments in the project. But a September paper from the SAP Web site shows that the company will start the initial trial of "landscape manager" this month.

    Also, in Wednesday, SAP intensified several plans to collaborate with VMware and support its development, including the application of VMware vsphere virtual devices and some extensions to private cloud clients. The
