Acer changes head of operations in US and Europe: one senior executive leaves

Taiwan's PC maker Acer recently convened a provisional board of directors to pass and publish news of the departure of European operations executives, according to a report in Taiwan's China Times Electronic newspaper, December 25.

Acer Interim board through the Pan-American and pan-European operations headquarters in the top management of the case, the original pan-European (pan-europe) operations Headquarters general manager Luca Rossi resignation, by the current Pan-American (Pan-america) Operations Headquarters Global vice President and business group general manager Emmanuel Fro Mo NT takes over the top executive of pan-European.

And the Pan American operations Director is the current Pan-American operations Headquarters product marketing deputy Sumit Agnihotry, and the latter assumed the title as the general manager of the business group. These two appointments will enter into force on January 1, 2015.

Fromont, the new head of pan-European operations, joined Acer in 2008 as deputy general manager for the Packard Bell brand in Acer's EMEA region, under his control, EMEA PC shipments from 2008 to 2010 presented an astonishing twice-fold jump to $2 billion trillion, Fromont was promoted to the top Pan American director in 2011.

As for Agnihotry, who will take over the post of Director of the Pan American Operations headquarters, has joined the Acer team for 16 years, starting with the grass-roots product manager in 1998, and from 2000 to 2008, responsible for the important positions of electrical marketing, 2008 years later, Agnihotry is a deputy general manager in Acer Pan American, and is in charge of the Acer's full range of products marketing in the region.
