Oracle, based on Sun's initial performance forecasts for the second quarter, calculates that, in the first year after the deal is completed, Sun will generate more than $1.5 billion trillion in operating profits for Oracle, and more than $2 billion in the second year, according to NON-GAAP accounting standards.
