Recently, Microsoft announced that it had acquired a company Metricshub that provides cloud management services, thereby adding a housekeeper to Microsoft's own cloud platform, Windows Azure.
Accompanying acquisition information Microsoft also announced that Windows Azure users will be free to receive a preview of the Metricshub Automatic Cloud monitoring service to help users manage their cloud services more efficiently. In addition, Metricshub company also announced that all paid users will be directly into the free program.
In fact, Metricshub is a project hatched by Microsoft's own Windows Azure accelerator. Microsoft's accelerated program was jointly organised with the famous incubator TechStars. Companies participating in the incubation program will not only be able to get 20,000 of dollars in investment from TechStars, an Azure cloud computing service worth 60,000 of dollars, an office space in Seattle, but also a chance to acquire a Microsoft takeover. It seems that Metricshub is the leader of the group.
