Beijing Time January 6 Evening news, Air US media (NASDAQ:AMCN) announced today that Gao and Xu Xianxin have been appointed as directors of the company. Gao will serve as an independent director and the appointment came into force on January 1, 2014.

Gao and Xu Xianxin are nominated by the U.S. media Investor Bison Capital LC Company 2¥Q, the latter from the global Gateway Investments bought 8.1 million shares of the United States and the U.S. media depository shares and become the U.S. media shareholder.

Gao has over more than 20 years of managerial experience in software, media, entertainment and venture capital, and currently serves as senior vice president of News Corp and CEO of News Corp China Investment Corporation. He has previously served as president and general manager of Microsoft China Company.

Xu Xianxin is founder of Bison Capital and chairman of Beijing Red Child Information Technology Co., Ltd.
