Akamai to establish cloud services strategic partnership with China Telecom

Akamai today announced a strategic partnership agreement with China Telecom's Cloud Computing Branch (hereinafter referred to as China Telecom Cloud Company). As one of the largest cloud computing service providers in China, Chinese Telecom Cloud Company has been committed to providing customers with quality cloud services. As part of the strategic partnership, China Telecom Cloud will integrate the Akamai industry-leading package of media distribution, network performance and cloud security solutions with its own cloud services to provide integrated solutions to Chinese companies seeking to expand their overseas deployments. This strategic partnership also aims to deepen cooperation between the two sides in the area of technology and network access, enhance Akamai's ability to distribute its content in China, and accelerate the distribution of global customer content to domestic users.
