American girls send an average of 80 messages a day

According to a recent survey of young people by Pew, a US market-oriented company, 3/4 of the 12-17-year-olds in the United States have a mobile phone in which the average number of messages sent by a woman on a mobile phone per day has reached 80.　　The average number of messages sent by men is only about 30. One of the main reasons for this phenomenon is that teenagers generally want to be able to communicate with other partners anytime, anywhere, and send and receive text can be a good way to meet this demand, whether in the classroom or under the close supervision of parents, they can easily send and receive text messages to keep in touch.　　The results even show that 87% of teens sleep with their phones on their pillows, so they can use their mobile phones to send and receive messages even at night.
