United States "Information Campus Program" (The campus Computing http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/3022.html ">project) Published 2011 Campus Information Annual Survey report shows that the United States colleges and universities are actively integrated into the mobile trend, but the importance of cloud computing is relatively low.
The report shows that more than half of all types of colleges and universities in the United States are currently offering mobile apps in the next school year, up from 30% to 40% last year.
In contrast, cloud computing is slower to popularize in American universities, with only 4.4% per cent of respondents saying their campuses have or are about to integrate ERP systems into cloud computing platforms. The overall deployment ratio of cloud storage services is only 6.5%,
But other areas of cloud computing are faster, and the proportion of cloud deployment for learning management systems is 11% of cloud computing deployed to 28%,CRM (Customer relationship Management) applications.
