An elastic cloud architecture based on Xen virtualization technology

Li Hingi, Jie

Cloud computing provides users with infrastructure as a service (IaaS) through virtualization, and the load of applications and services on the IaaS platform is dynamically changing, leading to a dynamic change in the demand for virtual resources. Therefore, it is the key to improve the service performance and resource utilization of the cloud platform to collect and analyze the consumption of virtual resources in cloud platforms and to flexibly dispatch them according to demand. From the point of load balancing and reducing the cost of cloud platform users, a kind of elastic cloud architecture is proposed according to the load of the virtual machine in the cloud platform. Simulation results show that this method can improve the usage of virtual resource and reduce the cost of users.
