Analogdevices's second-quarter profit fell 61% year-on-year

Total quarterly revenue fell to $474.7 million trillion and was significantly lower than $649.3 million a year ago. According to FactSet Research, Wall Street analysts expect ADI to profit 9 cents per share, with a revenue of about 428.3 million dollars. ADI expects a revised profit for the third quarter to be between 17 and 19 cents, with revenue expected to be unchanged from the second quarter.  Wall Street people now expect this to be: 11 cents, 443.5 million dollars. In the Tuesday stock Exchange, Adi's shares on the New York Stock Exchange rose 68 cents to $20.58, or 3.42%. After the announcement, as of 4:31 (Beijing time Wednesday 4:31 A.M.), the stock rose 1.52 U.S. dollars to 22.10 U.S. dollars, or 7.39%.
