Quirou announced his resignation in Tuesday on his personal Twitter account. During his tenure at Google, he was the Android Open source project (AOSP) technical Director, responsible for managing AOSP source code.

According to LinkedIn, a professional social networking site, Quirou will be assigned to the Yahoo Mobile team as an architect and Senior Chief engineer position. Marissa Marissa Mayer, a former Google executive, has been expanding the strength of its mobile team for more than a year.
