The land turns, now to Android.
There was a time when, about 20 years ago, Microsoft's operating system had occupied 90% of the market, and other companies were struggling to find opportunities, such as Apple.
But at the time of the shift, in the late 90 and early 2000, Apple began to infiltrate slowly until the first generation of the iphone in 2007, and Apple really started to do bigger and stronger.
A few years, hundreds of new products began to sell, Microsoft operating system also lost its market dominance. Now Microsoft is rethinking, trying to get on its feet, while another operating system is as ubiquitous as Microsoft.
Of course, Apple has not risen to dominance, and Mac OS and iOS still lag behind Windows ' market share.
The Android system took the baton from Microsoft. In 2014, more than 1 billion of the world's Android devices entered the market, which could make Android a base of more than 2 billion devices.
According to Gartner's latest forecasts, Google's Open operating system is about to be installed in nearly 60% of the equipment this year. These include computers, smartphones, tablets and other new devices, such as Google's own chrome notebooks.
Perhaps for the next time, Android is on the move.
