Application of a hybrid genetic algorithm in cloud computing load balancing
Cheng, Liu Lijing, stone clouds, Zhu Kai
Genetic Algorithm (GA) is widely used to solve complex problems in science and engineering, however, traditional GA has many restrictive factors in solving high-dimensional function optimization problem, so it can't be applied directly in cloud computing. A multi agent Genetic algorithm (maga) is proposed, which is a hybrid of multi-agent and genetic algorithms. First, it demonstrates the superiority of Maga compared with traditional GA, and then uses Maga to set up a load balance model based on virtual resource management to solve the problem of load balancing in cloud computing. Compared with the min_min strategy, the experimental results show that the multi-agent genetic algorithm can achieve better load balancing effect.
