ARIA2 has a powerful segmented download capability that can be downloaded from a variety of sources and protocols using the maximum download bandwidth. It supports simultaneous file downloads from HTTP (s)/ftp and BitTorrent, while uploading to BitTorrent from HTTP (s)/ftp downloaded data.

ARIA2 1.15.0 This version adds WebSocket Json-rpc. It uses an existing JSON object with the same request/response as Json-rpc over HTTP, adding event notifications from the server to the client.
