ASC World University student Super Computer competition has completed registration work

On the morning of December 29, the 2014 ASC World University Super Computer Competition (hereinafter referred to as ASC14), co-sponsored by the Asia Association and Wave group, has already completed its registration, with 77 universities from Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Africa all enrolled in the competition. It is reported that the competition preliminary will be officially launched on January 2, 2014, and the finals will be held in April 2014, Zhongshan University, Guangzhou, China. The theme of this ASC14 competition is "Wisdom unbounded" (No limit of wisdom).

ASC Competition and the United States SC, Germany ISC, known as the international three major events, the tournament by the Asian Association and Wave Group jointly sponsored by Asia, has so far been held three consecutive sessions and attracted more and more Chinese and world-wide enthusiastic participation of universities. From the registration of this contest, the distribution area of the participating colleges and universities has covered more than 10 countries and regions in the world, including the traditional "super giants" in Europe and the United States, as well as "super rich" such as "Brics".

Compared with the previous ASC competition, the number of ASC14 teams increased by nearly one-fold, compared with the United States SC and the German ISC, the number of ASC14 teams more, covering the country's regional scope larger.
