AUTOSSH is a program that monitors and automatically restarts SSH connections/tunnels. It functions like the Rstunnel (SSH tunnel), and the difference is that the AUTOSSH is implemented in C and is easier to set up and use, especially for applications connected to multiple hosts. AUTOSSH supports OpenBSD, Linux, and Solaris platforms, and has been compiled and passed tests.

Autossh 1.4c This release fixes the problem of Autossh initial connection exit failure when running in the background, updates the internal valid OPENSSH options list, and adds some configuration.
