Arun Bansal, managing director of Ericsson Bangladesh, said last May that the country already has more than 6 million mobile internet users, 15% of which are 3G users. Bangladesh currently has six operators, according to Mobile World statistics, as of the first quarter of this year, the country has 55 million mobile users, this data accounted for 35% of the total population of the country. It is noteworthy that of the country's six operators, only four users are worth mentioning, the dominant operator Grameenphone has 23.9 million users, Banglalink users 14.2 million, Aktel users 11.8 million, Warid EADS user 2.9 million, The number of Citycell and Teletalk users in the rear added up to just 2.9 million.
