Baresip is a simple SIP user agent, the main feature is modularity and portability. It supports SIP, SDP, RTCP protocol, Stun/turn/ice, IPV4, and http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/9485.html ">ipv6, RFC compliant and portable C89 , and C99 source code.

BARESIP Modular Plug-in architecture provides Stdio,cons,evdev user interface, Celt,g711,g722,gsm,ilbc,l16,speex audio codec, alsa,coreaudio,gst, PORTAUDIOOSS,WINWAV,MDA Audio driver, Speex_pp,speex_aec,speex_resamp,sndfile audio filter, Avcodec video codec, Avformat,quicktime, QTCAPTURE,V4L and V4L2 video signal sources, sdl,opengl,x11 video display driver and SRTP media encoding.

Baresip 0.4.1 is a maintenance version with multiple minor improvements and fixes. This hotfix includes phone events for SIP, new password hints, and more flexible configuration of audio/video devices. Added a new experimental video signal source module named Cairo. ALSA,AMR,EVDEV,SILK,SRTP,V4L and Winwave module fixes have been applied.
