C114 Beijing Time June 23 Afternoon News (Zhang Yuehong) June 17, communications network infrastructure solutions provider Kombucha's subsidiary, Andrew Limited, has filed lawsuits in China and Brazil over the patent infringement of Beijing Telecom's use of Remote Electric (RET) base-station antenna technology in wireless networks. The company said that so far, kombucha in the world has been to more than 10 communications network industry enterprises to authorize its RET patented technology. According to the pleadings, the company demanded that Beijing Telecom stop infringing and compensate for its economic losses of RMB 12 million and other litigation-related expenses. In Brazil, Kombucha confirmed that Beijing-Shin communications equipment Limited violated the Brazilian franchise of the company's subsidiary Andrew Limited, and asked for a criminal search and seizure of the Beijing letter at the office location of Barueri. According to the company's understanding, the patent filed by Andrew in several areas involved patent invalidation and revocation procedures, the beijing-based letter said in a statement. In Europe, its corresponding electric antenna product patent in 2009 was once revoked by the European Patent Office. In China, Andrew's electric antenna patent in 2007 and 2009 was also two times by the State Intellectual Property Office, the patent was subsequently declared invalid by the Beijing Intermediate People's Court in 2010. The Company believes that the company's patents in China and Brazil should be declared invalid in accordance with the law, and its allegations in China and Brazil on the infringement of the company should not be established. The two companies are currently in the process of litigation.
