How ActiveX file Previews work

As one of the new features of the http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13548.html ">lotus Quickr 8.5.1 for Domino Fix Pack 26 (in the hereafter referred to as FP26), Allows you to import a file by using an ActiveX control, during which the control analyzes the file content format, generates the preview HTML files and associated style sheets (CSS) and Image files, and provides Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel Files for paging, each slide or each table (Sheet) will have the corresponding HTML. Figure 1 and Figure 2 show an ActiveX display of the slide.

It is noteworthy that ActiveX previews can be used in any of the Lotus Quickr 8.5.1 supported browsers, once ActiveX generates a well-formed preview temp file. For example, an Office file imported through IE ActiveX, previewed in FireFox or Safari, uses an ActiveX generated temporary file preview.

You can see 2 hyperlinks underneath the slide, "Zoom" to reopen the browser window to view a larger preview, and "Next Slide" to turn the page, at the bottom of which is the slide page tip. Similarly, if we click "Next Slide", the slide will go to the next page, providing a "Previous Slide" hyperlink to page control, as shown in Figure 2.

In addition to previewing files directly, we can also preview the file by clicking on the "Preview" menu in the context menu of the document to re-enable a browser window. Figure 3 Example.

From these sample pictures we can see the good format for ActiveX document preview, because users typically have direct preview of Microsoft Office documents, FP26 only for Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel The document provides ActiveX preview functionality and is limited to using a preview of the import files (imported file).
