BlackBerry App Store uses up to 90,000 downloads to break 3 billion times

BlackBerry App Store apps up to 90,000 downloads 3 billion times the U.S. insider BlackBerry Developer Blog reported that the App Store in BlackBerry (Weibo) was downloaded 3 billion times in Saturday. At present, the number of applications of the store has reached 90,000. Despite Rim's recent heavy losses, the rapid growth in BlackBerry app downloads is still good news. BlackBerry App World Downloads 1 billion, 2 billion, and 3 billion times, respectively, for 786 days, 210 days and 176 days, according to insider BlackBerry. The insider BlackBerry does not take into account downloads from Third-party BlackBerry app stores, internal push applications, and apps that are downloaded directly from the Web. BlackBerry App World currently offers more than 90,000 apps, but many of these apps are simply ported from Android platforms. Developers have been slow to develop BlackBerry apps because of the decline in BlackBerry sales. At present, Google (Micro-bo) Android platform applications download more than 10 billion times, Apple App Store application download more than 25 billion times. But Rim says its ecosystem of applications is not only healthy but it can also generate more revenue for developers, as Rim does not require a 30% share of the same revenue as Apple and Google.
