Blizzard "World of Warcraft" and other game products are sued infringement patent

Beijing Time September 17 news, according to foreign media reports, patent lawsuits between technology companies are common, Apple and other big-name companies such as Microsoft are often accused of infringement of patents.  Now in the gaming world, a new york-based company, Paltalk, has filed lawsuits against a number of game makers, including Blizzard, Sony, NCSoft, Turbine and Jagex, accusing them of violating their technology patents. Paltalk filed a petition with the Texas Marshall City District Court. Paltalk said in the complaint that the company bought two patents from the HearMe office in 2002. The two patents involve techniques that share data in the network so that users from different geographic locations can see the same virtual scene at the same time.  This technology is widely used in "World of Warcraft", "EQ" and "Guild Wars" and many other MMORPG games, Paltalk claimed that these games have violated their purchase of patents. Paltalk has made no small gains in previous lawsuits against Microsoft. The company sued Microsoft for infringing its patents on technology used in the game halo.  Microsoft eventually reached an out-of-court settlement with Paltalk and paid an unspecified amount of money as a patent. At the deadline, Sony, Blizzard and other companies have yet to comment on the matter. However, Microsoft's weakness in the paltalk of the company or put these big-name companies into a disadvantageous position.
