Blue Coat Systems has announced a new data center for the blue Coat webpulse Cloud Security Service in Hong Kong to enhance user performance in the region. The move will also provide more robust application visibility and protection for more than 54 million users worldwide. 　　As new data centers are established, users of Blue Coat Webfilter, Proxycliend, and K9 Web homeowner will automatically benefit from richer distributed global networks, including eight data and content rating centers. Blue Coat webpulse Cloud Security Service uses dynamic link analysis to identify and evaluate Web2.0 threats that propagate malicious content through dynamic linking. This service obtains real-time intelligence from a wide, ever-changing and growing group of users, including new sites, URLs, dynamic Web2.0 content, and links. The Webpulse Cloud Security Service uses multiple in-depth analysis techniques to conduct extensive threat assessments of these links, identifying malware, phishing, and other malicious or inappropriate content that ensures the immediate availability of all users in the enterprise without downloading or other update steps.
