Boeing receives China 19 billion dollar order

(reporter Li Meiling) Boeing said yesterday that the Chinese Government had confirmed the agreement to buy 200 Boeing aircraft, which was worth 19 billion of dollars, with a delivery date of 2011-2013, with models of 737 and 777.  Boeing stressed that China will be Boeing's largest civilian aircraft customers. Boeing civil aircraft Group president and CEO Amborger said that the current Boeing aircraft is China's passenger and cargo transport system in the main model. More than 50% of all civilian jets operating in China are Boeing aircraft.  Boeing predicts that China will need 4330 new aircraft in the next 20 years, worth 480 billion of dollars. Boeing said that China's aerospace industry was involved in the manufacture of all Boeing models, including 737, 747, 767, 777 and 787 Dreamliner.
