March 9 Morning News According to foreign reports, two Chinese airlines have agreed to buy 43 Boeing jumbo jets, trading highlights the rapid growth of China's aviation industry. The Financial Times reported that China International Airlines announced that it would buy 5 Boeing 747-8 aircraft. This is the new Boeing jumbo jet, carrying more than 460 people. Hong Kong Airlines has signed a preliminary agreement to buy 38 aircraft, including 32 delayed Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 6 777 cargo planes. The deal was announced at the Hong Kong Asia International Air Show. Under open pricing, the total value of the two deals is around $10 billion trillion, but the transaction price is generally lower than the price. The two orders underscore the strong growth in demand for Boeing and its European rival Airbus aircraft in China and the Asia-Pacific region for many years to come. The average annual growth rate of air traffic in the Asia-Pacific region is expected to be 6.8% per cent over the next 20 years, while the average annual growth rate is expected to be 5.3% per cent, said Landy Tinces, vice president of commercial aircraft marketing at Boeing. Tinseth told reporters in Hong Kong that China's air traffic growth will be particularly strong, with an average growth rate of 8.6% over the next 20 years. "During this period, the number of new deliveries in the Asia-Pacific region will account for One-third of the world, up to 10320." "These needs are driven by the fact that the global share of tourism demand in the Asia-Pacific region will rise to 44% from about 34% per cent over the next 20 years," says Seth. "Boeing predicts that as air passenger and freight volumes continue to grow, global airlines will need to acquire 30900 new aircraft by 2030, nearly half of which are used to replace old aircraft. The total number of global aircraft will double over the same period, from 18890 to 36300.
