BofA says it has revised more than 64,000 mortgage-loan terms

In the early hours of May 26, Beijing time, according to a summary report from Dan Fram, a spokesman for Bank of America Corp., in the media today, between March and December last year, The bank has revised the terms of more than 64,000 housing mortgage contracts for borrowers.  The bank had previously reached a settlement with 42 U.S. states over alleged "predatory loans" (predatory lending). The changes to the mortgage contract would save the borrower 823.5 million of dollars in principal and interest payments, the report showed. The bank has revised mortgage contracts for 100,300 borrowers, reducing the level of interest that borrowers should pay, the report said.
