Boosting domestic demand, especially consumer demand, next year

BEIJING, November 28 (Xinhua): To expand domestic demand to achieve the "three mainly" 27th, the CPC Politburo meeting proposed that next year to promote domestic demand, especially consumer demand for sustained growth, enhance the residents, especially low-income people's consumption capacity, improve the policy to promote consumption, and maintain a reasonable investment growth. Since this year, the "domestic demand portfolio", which consists of investment and consumption, has made a significant contribution to the economic growth of China, which has made up for the loss caused by the shrinkage of external demand and consolidated the economic recovery.　　However, there are still many uncertainties in the future development of the world economy, we must maintain the continuity and stability of macro-policy, and unswervingly expand domestic demand, especially to expand consumption.　　To strengthen domestic demand, especially to enhance the consumption demand for economic growth, we must deal with external demand and domestic demand, investment and consumption, and government consumption and residents consumption three relations. We should insist on enlarging domestic demand and stabilizing external demand. At present, the international financial crisis is still spreading, and the unfavourable environment of export will be maintained for a long time.　　In the face of such a large background, we must insist on expanding domestic demand, while actively stabilizing external demand and promoting imports, in order to continue to maintain a good development trend this year. Compared with consumption demand, investment demand should be based on expanding consumption demand. This year, the bank's new loans have greatly exceeded last year, the proportion of total investment is very high, and long-term maintenance of such investment intensity and structure is difficult. Compared with the investment, the consumption demand is not limited by the scale of bank loan, and there is no hidden trouble such as duplication construction, but also helps to solve the problem of overcapacity and promote the adjustment of industrial structure and economic structure.　　More importantly, expanding consumer demand will benefit the general public directly. Compared with residents ' consumption, government consumption should be based on enlarging residents ' consumption demand. The proportion of Chinese residents ' consumption to total consumption has fallen from 78.6% in 1978 to 72.7% in 2007. Since this year, China's urban residents per capita disposable income and rural residents per capita cash income exceeded the GDP growth rate, the residents consumption fully equipped with "another floor" conditions. In the future, while continuing to increase the income of residents, we should further improve the social security system and relieve the worries of residents ' consumption.
