Breaking billion next year! Millet/Huawei/Lenovo 2014 shipments are more than 60 million units

Citing market research agency TrendForce reported that 2014 Chinese smartphone shipments will reach 450 million units, accounting for 38.6% of global smartphone shipments, and that Chinese manufacturers have been growing at an annual growth rate of 50% per cent since 2011, when they entered the international market. With subsidies slashed and saturated in the domestic market, global smartphones will slow in 2015, with growth rates falling to 17%. But TrendForce analyst Alan Chen says global smartphone shipments will grow by 40% in 2015, or even 50% per cent in 2016. Lenovo, Huawei, Millet and other Chinese manufacturers will become the main force next year and future growth, the three domestic companies this year shipments are more than 60 million units, followed by Samsung and Apple, the three companies are expected in 2015 shipments will be more than 100 million units.
