By 2100, all the GDP of Latin American countries will be used to cope with weather changes

International Online Report: The United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) issued a report of 17th that if countries do not immediately take effective measures to curb climate change, all Latin American and Caribbean countries will bear a huge financial burden, and related spending will even exceed the total gross domestic product (GDP). Latin America and the Caribbean are the world's second-largest emitters of greenhouse gases, but are the hardest affected by climate change, according to ECLAC. The report says weather changes will lead to a series of topics such as the reduction of biological species and the reduction of water consumption due to melting glaciers in the countries of the region.　　In addition, the impact of rising sea levels on the Caribbean island States will be fatal. The report warns that if global countries do not come up with effective measures, it is expected that by 2100, the region's countries will be used to deal with the problem of weather change from the current 8.6 billion U.S. dollars soared to 250 billion U.S. dollars, to all countries in the region combined with 1.37 times times GDP.
