BYD Iron Battery Base settled in Shenzhen

Last week, the reporter learned from BYD, BYD Iron battery Shenzhen base settled in Shenzhen pit Tsz Industrial Park. The base is scheduled to be completed this year and will become the world's largest production base for iron batteries. By then, BYD's total output of iron batteries will reach 10GWh a year. "BYD Iron Battery in 2006 Research and development success, and widely used in new energy transportation, storage power station, solar street lamps and other fields, the pit Zi Power battery base completion, will help BYD new energy industry two take-off." Said Mr Wang, President of BYD Corp.

It is understood that the base plan covers an area of about 100,000 square meters, mainly for the development, production and sales of power batteries. After its completion, the project will produce a total production capacity of 8GWh of iron batteries, which can provide batteries for about 25,000 buses or 600,000 hybrid cars. According to another introduction, BYD Pit Zi Power battery project using automatic production line to ensure the battery production process intelligent automation precision control, to ensure the consistency of battery production requirements. The key process of the whole production line has assembled the industry advanced production equipment, at the same time has also configured the automatic assembly line which the BYD develops independently.
