Century interconnection and CNNIC signed strategic cooperation Agreement

Beijing Time October 2 Evening News, Century Interconnection (nasdaq:vnet) announced today, and China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.

According to the agreement, the two sides will rely on the national Domain name Global Service platform, the spirit of "resource sharing, complementarity, cooperation and mutual benefit, common development" principle, on the Internet basic resources, such as Domain Name System (DNS), IP address and autonomous domain (AS), etc. and build a DNS open interconnect platform based on their root server mirroring and other resources.

The cooperation between the two sides is aimed at promoting the construction of the cooperative innovation mechanism of the Internet, jointly promoting the healthy and sustainable development of China's Internet basic resources, and promoting the continuous optimization of Internet infrastructure and network user experience, and creating a more dynamic and safer Chinese Internet.
