BEIJING, September 6 (reporter Hong Junjie) reporter learned from the Ministry of Commerce, in recent years, China has actively expanded the size of imports for the world to provide a huge market, has become the world's second largest importer.  From January to July this year, China's imports of 766.56 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 47.2% year-on-year, the growth rate is higher than export 11.6%.  At present, the total level of China's import tariffs has fallen to 9.8%, well below the average tariff level of 46.6% per cent in developing countries, the import quota has been largely abolished and the automatic import license management of some 800 items of goods has been abolished, and measures have been introduced to streamline import procedures and further improve trade facilitation. In the process of coping with the international financial crisis, imports from China have played a role in stabilizing the world economy. Last year, China became Japan, Australia, Brazil, South Africa's largest export market.
