According to the agreement, the 32nd Institute of China Electric Branch will jointly set up a joint laboratory with the American Eucalyptus System Corporation to devote to the research of technology research, product development and extension of cloud computing management platform. Eucalyptus systems will open the source code for all enterprise-class products to the Chinese side and jointly develop an enterprise-class cloud management platform to meet the needs of Chinese customers.

Li Weiguo said that the group of information services industry set up by China Electric Branch in Shanghai will integrate and reorganize the resources within and outside the group, in which cloud computing will be promoted as a key direction of strategic cooperation.
